Netsuke.AI is an experimental website designed to help collectors, enthusiasts, dealers, academics and everyone involved in the sagemono field to access knowledge on the subject efficiently. The system brings together multiple data sources — such as books, journals, publication records (Fuld's Index), archival forum postings, and more — combined into a single resource with a powerful AI chatbot guide to assimilate information and provide summaries and insights.
Netsuke.AI does not provide source data directly, and you are encouraged to subscribe to the relevant journals for access to primary sources.
Your data
We take privacy seriously. The site is served over HTTPS, login uses one-time magic links rather than passwords (so we never store a password), and access to your data is limited to what's needed to run the service.
- Email — collected at registration to send your magic-link sign-in and to maintain your account. We don't use it for marketing unless you separately opt in.
- Chat records — your conversations with the chatbot are stored so it can continue dialogues with you.
- Feedback form — the name and note are used to read and respond to your feedback. If you're not already signed in, we email a verification link to the address you give; clicking it confirms your email and creates a Netsuke.AI account, after which your email is used as described under "Email" above.
- Retention — we keep this data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing contact@netsuke.ai, and we'll action it.
- Your rights — you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, or object to its use, by contacting us at the address above.
